ANNELIDS
❧ (Annelid #01)

❦❦❦❦
HQ: Levels 3 & 4
Large, brown worm-like thing that grows to be anywhere around 10-20 feet long and 2-3 feet wide. Covered in tiny hairs that cause numbness upon contact with skin.
Meanders slowly through the floors eating floor plants. Completely harmless, and can survive losing pieces of itself so long as the head is intact. Gets eaten/picked at by other animals all the time.
The hairs can be collected and used as a topical anesthetic. The worm's meat is super fatty and squishy to eat (It's more like a gel) but tastes good and is good for you!!

BIRDS
❧ Dumbird

❦❦
HQ: Level 3
A brown and black, quail-like bird that can't fly, but can run and climb up vines. Stands at about a foot tall. Lays small, brown speckled eggs.
Very quick, but a little dumb and attracted to shifting colors/lights. Builds its nest in the middle of poisonous shrubs. Capable of emitting a high-pitched screech that can temporarily deafen a person in the same room.
Very enriching meat and eggs.
❧ Red-crested Water Walker

CREDIT
❦❦
HQ: Level 2 (submerged)
A small green and brown round bird, no taller than a foot, with large taloned feet. It has a single red feather on its head that's over 2 feet long, which typically hangs down its back and over its tail feathers.
Its eggs are small and a muddy brown in color; its nests are often hard to find as a result.
This bird is capable of running agilely across the surface of the water, though it will flutter with its wings to higher land when something attempts to nip at its feet.
It uses the red feather on its head as a fishing line, often standing at the edge of water and bringing the feather around to dip into the water to attract smaller fish to eat. It will then catch the fish in its talon and carry it somewhere safe to eat.
The bird and the eggs are both edible and delicious. The red feather is incredibly strong and nearly impossible to snap or break. As such, it's useful as a short binding material or fishing line.

INSECTS
❧ (Insect #01)

❦❦
HQ: Level 3
A two-inch long water beetle that's typically colored in either a bright blue (female) or a bright red (male).
Tend to travel in pairs of male and female. When disturbed, they roll up into tight little balls that're impossible to open and impervious to heat, acid, and anything else of the like.
Eating the innards of the red beetle gives a very strong boost of energy; eating the innards of the blue beetle greatly reduces your energy levels. If you mix them together, it kind of acid-trips you.

HQ: Levels 2, 3, & 4
Mantis-like flying bugs that grow to be about 2-3 inches tall. Bright yellow in color, with green stripes. Their claws are actually razor-sharp and easily capable of slicing through most natural material.
Live in swarms of roughly 100. Settle into large nests made out of leaves created in the vines and will attack when their nest is disturbed. The nest is identifiable by the red leaves they use on the outer shell. Attacks by slicing at their enemies; the cuts they cause aren't very deep but their blades are coated with a natural toxin that slows the healing process on inflicted wounds.
The inner lining of the nests is coated in a syrupy green liquid that can be spread over open wounds to seal them and prevent infection.

HQ: Levels 2, 3, & 4
Butterflies with six-inch wide wingspans at their biggest; they come in a variety of colors and wing designs, but for most of them, about 75% of their wings are crystal clear, as if looking through glass.
Harmless! The butterflies tend to travel in small groups and are capable of eating anything, so long as it's already dead. The glass part of their wings will stain to reflect their most recent meal; a butterfly that's just eaten freshly dead meat though will have its glass parts shaded to a blood red. One that's been eating a lot of plants will have a green shade to the glass parts of its wings.
Inedible. But looking through the glass parts of the wings yields different types of lenses. The wings are fragile butterfly wings though, so they're very easy to break- one smudge or line on the wing will render the rest of it useless.
Red: Infrared
Clear: Magnifying
Green: Night vision

MAMMALS
❧ (Mammal #01)

CREDIT
❦❦❦
HQ: Levels 3 & 4
A brown and black ape-like creature with golden eyes that resembles a sloth. It has very short red claws.
EXTREMELY slow moving. It will typically lock onto an individual prey target then follow it without stop FOREVER until it manages to eat the prey. Capable of taking a large amount of injury, healing quickly, then keep moving; the only way to kill it is by cutting it directly along its spine. When it does manage to sink its claws into something, the claws inject a fast-acting poison that causes excruciating pain in the affected area for an hour.
Its meat is edible, though stringy, and aids in greatly accelerating the healing process when consumed.

❦❦❦
HQ: Levels 1 & 2 (submerged)
Large creatures that are nearly identical to manatees, but generally more brown in color. Their bodies are covered in a very thin layer of moss and algae, which adds some green color to their skin. Grows to be around 15 feet on average.
Extremely curious and will often float toward things to give them light bumps with their heads. Herbivores in general and extremely agile and quick underwater, but will typically laze around.
Their skin is very hard to pierce and they don't take very well to being attacked, using their bodies as battering rams when threatened.
Their bodies are composed of a very fatty meat, and there's plenty of it.

PRIMATES
❧ Mimonkey

CREDIT
❦❦❦
HQ: Levels 3, 4, & 5
A brown monkey that averages about the size of a normal chimpanzee, with a long gray prehensile tail.
This monkey will perfectly mimic the physical actions taken by any person or creature within its immediate vicinity. When faced with a person wielding a weapon, it will attempt to take that weapon and use whatever attacks used against it in retaliation. After sleeping, the monkey will have completely forgot everything it learned the previous day.
The monkeys can be kept as 'pets' and taught to do menial tasks, so long as you are willing to reteach it every day.

BUSHES
❧ Flower Spice Bush

CREDIT
❦❦
HQ: Level 3
A small bush that grows about knee-high with densely packed green and red leaves. Blooms small, white flowers.
The leaves of the shrub are poisonous and causes nasty rashes that lasts for days.
The flower petals of the bush can be ground up and used as a spice mixture in cooking, so long as they're properly washed. The roots of the bush are edible, and highly nutritious.

FLOWERS
❧ Kaleidoscope Blossom

CREDIT
❦❦
HQ: Level 3
An orchid-like plant that has a large, pretty flowering bloom that slowly shifts colors.
Lures animals in with its hypnotic colorchange. When the flower is touched, it instantly curls in on itself and hidden barbed thorns protrude out from the shell of the bloom.
The petals of the flower, when purified and mixed into water, will get you so drunk. Sooooo drunk.
❧ Black & White Star Flower

CREDIT
❦❦
HQ: Level 3
A small plant that produces star-shaped flowers that bloom in either black or white.
The plant tends to grow only near moss that's growing on the ground. The flowers turn into battery-sized pods after they wilt, full of either black or white seeds.
Black ground seeds add a sour taste to anything it's mixed with; white ground seeds add a sweet taste.

FUNGI
❧ (Fungi #01)

CREDIT
❦❦
HQ: Levels 2, 3, & 4
Bright orange mushrooms that grow about a foot tall in small clumps. The top of the mushrooms are naturally covered in a powdery white dust.
Skin contact with the dust on top of the mushrooms slowly drains your energy so long as the dust is on your skin. The mushroom in turn grows taller as more energy is drained.
Clean off all the dust and purify the mushroom and it's quite tasty, with a slight sweetness to it.
❧ Bleeders

CREDIT
❦❦
HQ: Levels 2 & 3
A short white mushroom with a wide cap that grows in groups around the base of trees.
The mushrooms secrete a thick, red, pus-like liquid when picked, which can easily cover the entire mushroom if left alone. The liquid smells strongly of blood and will attract any predators in the vicinity.
The liquid, once purified, still smells of blood but tastes like a very sweet jam. The mushroom, however, is inedible and tastes like rubber.

TREES
❧ Purples

CREDIT
❦❦❦
HQ: Level 3
A short fruit tree that grows to be around 4 feet tall. Has a dense foliage of leaves in its branches, which are naturally sharply thorned, and its fruit grows closer to the inner branches of the tree. The fruit itself resembles large, purple apples and smells very fragrantly of citrus.
Tends to grow in the corners of rooms. The fruit attracts a great number of animals to it with its smell.
The fruits are deliciously edible, the inside resembles a purple orange in appearance and juiciness, despite the apple shape, and the taste varies from nicely sweet to a bit sour, depending on the ripeness.

VEGETABLES
❧ (Veggie #01)

CREDIT
❦❦❦
HQ: Levels 3 & 4
A short, leafy plant with bright yellow leaves that grows in dense patches. Has long, dark brown roots that grow across walls like vines.
The plant tends to grow high up on the walls of rooms, with its roots hanging all the way down to the ground in a tangled mess.
The yellow leaves are edible- similar to lettuce in taste and consistency. The roots are also edible, with an earthier flavor to them.

VINES
❧ Blue-Grape Vines

CREDIT
❦❦❦
HQ: Levels 3 & 4
A thin, woody vine with long, narrow green leaves. The vine grows by entangling itself in other vines. Produces bright blue, grape-sized berries that grow in small bunches.
The vine tends to grow along walls only and produces berries very rarely. Consuming the berries of the vine induces a high fever and hallucinations.
The purified leaves and roots of the vine can be brewed into a very nice, pain-killing tea.
