Hiatus and Drops

❧ Hiatus and Drop Options

We have a number of drop and hiatus options that cover a range of different levels of IC trauma and OOC difficulty. With the exception of the first and final options, all 'ends' may be used for hiatus OR drop.

❧ Good End - NOW AVAILABLE TO CHARAS WHO HAVE BEEN IN THUSIA FOR 6 OOC MONTHS or more (may be non-consecutive). More info to come. For now please email thusia.mods@gmail.com if you want to use this drop option so we can discuss it.

❧ Drafted - Your character will be drafted by Dathusropi to survive and work in the wilderness of Thusia under his protection. Characters dropped this way may be able to occasionally return for visits in specifically designated events. See more details or play out drop threads here.

❧ God Drop - It is possible for gods to send people on missions, or kidnap them, or come up with their own unique form of coma, or just about anything, really. If you would like to Drop Via God, please talk it over with the player of the god to work something out, then just let us know a little bit about it in the drop form.

❧ Coma - Your character is stricken with a particularly awful version of a mutating jungle fever. It is possible your character will overcome it or that a cure will be found... eventually. However, until this happens, s/he is stuck in a coma.

❧ Lost - Your character is lost to the jungle. They will either be captured by spiders and cocooned or by a flower and used for fertilizer. Either way, the character will not be found by other charas until someone is playing them again, so this option is usually the most troubling for the CR you leave behind.

However, from here you can also choose the sub-option "Cached"; that is, found by Dathusropi, who then takes their coma'd bodies into safekeeping. Characters still in game will be aware he has them but he won't be giving them back until they are reapped. See more details here.

❧ Death - Your character dies, and inconveniently, the god of death notices and ushers their soul into the Thusian afterlife. This puts them out of reach of any revivals the gods can offer. Basically any kind of death works, since it's really just bad luck that Lupe caught this one and your character won't easily see the land of the living again. Death is not ENTIRELY permanent, but we do suggest this option only if you don't plan to reapp or you don't plan to reapp for a while, as it takes some IC finagling to revive a character killed this way. You won't be able to reapp and just neatly drop back into the game like you can with the other options, and this is also not ever a hiatus option.

❧ Hiatus

You can take a hiatus whenever you want for any reason, of course. However, please remember that a hiatus less than two weeks won't count as an excuse for failing AC! And if you know you are going to be on hiatus over activity check, we would appreciate it you submitted your AC first.
